Synopsis
On a lost island between Africa and Europe, Dai, a young Chinese who is pregnant, has grounded as if by magic. Each day she examines the migrants’ faces who arrive by millions, hoping to find the father of her child.
Whereas the insular paradise transforms slowly into a seaside cemetery, Dai must reinvents how to survive. She seeks refuge in a cave, an enclave where imaginary is king, where she and her child to come might resist to the world’s violence which rumbles outside.
